Took a break from the crafting (hahaha) and went out into the real world with other real humans - and spent the day eating some delightful food with some lovely company, outdoors in the garden. I still feel very much out of place with John's friends - they are an established trio couple with John and his ex, and infiltrating that has been very daunting. This, however, has been the first time I've felt really comfortable and OK in their company, which was really nice. And the food (baked feta, best steak I've ever had, langoustines, and our key lime pie ice-cream) was delish; I'm actually very keen to have some foodie friends so I hope this theme continues.
